After applying, I got a phone call about the role, and I realized I’d already forgotten what position I’d applied for—HR quickly reminded me of the scope.

The conversation was pleasant, and they invited me to the next step.

Because I was in a different city than the office, the interview ended up being a remote video conference. On the scheduled day, I joined the meeting and waited for the whole hour while it stayed awkwardly empty—no one came on and nobody explained what happened. Honestly, it felt like an extreme waste of time and there was a surprising lack of professionalism.

That was the end of my process with them, and I walked away frustrated because the first impression was less about the work and more about reliability.
