My process began with a recruiter call that lasted about half an hour, and he did most of the talking.

He told me I’d need to complete a cognitive assessment and that he’d send it right after the meeting, followed by an interview with the hiring manager who’d already reviewed my resume.

I waited and then had to follow up because the assessment didn’t arrive when promised. When I finally took the test, it felt brutally time-constrained: it was described as something you had to finish in 15 minutes, and many of the questions were basically guesswork if you wanted to complete it. Honestly, it felt like the assessment was designed more for moving people through than for understanding fit.
