AutoZone Account Executive interview experience

The interview itself was mostly laid back and happened during regular store hours. I sat down one-on-one with the store manager and talked through my work history and availability, and then we shifted into basic automotive knowledge and customer-service expectations—things like why I wanted the job, what I knew about parts, and how I’d handle an upset customer or a situation where rules mattered. The flow wasn’t formal; it was more conversational, with some quick checks on whether I could reliably explain what I’d done on a car.

There was also a bit of parts knowledge baked into the process.
