Automation Anywhere Software Engineer interview experience

The initial stage was a telephonic interview with some introductory conversation, followed by a technical round at the office. For that onsite technical part, I worked through a few simple programs—things like generating a palindrome check and reversing a string—and I had the flexibility to choose the language I wrote in.

After the coding-focused part, there was an HR round with more resume and formal discussion. I remember it feeling like they were primarily testing whether I could apply logic cleanly and then match it with how I’d present my experience in a more traditional conversation.
