Autodesk QA Automation Engineer interview experience

The part that really hurt was how long everything dragged on afterward. I was kept in a kind of holding pattern for over a month, and the communication framed it as “unexpected delays,” even though I later felt like I was being used as a backup rather than the primary choice.

Because of that, the whole process felt needlessly drawn out instead of decisive. Even though the actual structure wasn’t unusual, the experience overall ended up feeling difficult mainly due to the uncertainty and the sense that my place in the pipeline wasn’t fully real.
