I applied and the recruiter got back to me after a few weeks.

My process felt pretty straightforward: I ended up going through two interviews with staff-level people and management, and the whole thing leaned heavily on my background plus what I knew about the energy space.

The first round started with behavioral questions and then shifted into a market sizing problem. I had to walk through the calculations live, keeping my reasoning clear as I went, and toward the end I got time for my questions. The follow-up interview had a similar vibe but pushed more on role-fit and domain understanding, with a strong emphasis on energy-related thinking.
