My process started with an HR call that doubled as a phone screening and scheduling step.

During that call, the questions were pretty straightforward and centered on my day-to-day work at my current company.

After that, I got scheduled for an interview with a senior data engineer roughly a week later. The whole early stage felt easy in terms of what they asked, and it mainly served to align on background rather than test my skills immediately.

I didn’t end up getting an offer from that process. Even so, the early steps felt efficient and uncomplicated, and the timeline was clear enough that I knew what was coming next.
