My process was pretty standard: I went through multiple rounds and ended with a presentation.

After all that effort and time with the team, I was rejected through a form email.

I didn’t mind that I wasn’t selected, but what felt off to me was the lack of personal closure. Since I’d spent that much time with the team, it seemed like basic courtesy would have included a personal call to relay the news. The pay also didn’t feel competitive based on what I saw.

I didn’t receive an offer, and the main reflection I had afterward was that the operational side of communication didn’t match the time commitment they asked for.
