I had a four-step process that moved through multiple managers: first a hiring manager, then a manager from another team, then another manager from a different team, and finally a country manager.

Across those conversations, the tone felt casual, like chat-style interviews rather than a strict interrogation.

Even with the relaxed vibe, I wasn’t sure if I was doing well or whether I could stand out, largely because the conversations didn’t feel like they were measuring me in a way that was easy to read.

I didn’t get an offer, and the uncertainty I felt during the interviews stayed with me afterward. It was friendly, but the ambiguity made it hard to gauge what they really wanted.
