I attended a live coding round, and it didn’t go the way I wanted.

I couldn’t remember the exact details afterward, but it involved an array-focused problem, and when I reflected on it, I felt like I wasn’t able to reproduce a strong solution.

The round itself seemed relatively easy for anyone who was already well-practiced with LeetCode-style problems, which made the result feel even more disappointing. I was rejected, and the main lingering thought was how narrow that live moment was—if I didn’t land the solution cleanly, there wasn’t much room to recover.
