AppLogic Networks Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

IndiaPosted May 2014 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a round where the questions pulled directly from C++ and Java, and the interview felt very focused on programming fundamentals.

I was asked about the idea behind a Singleton class, what a constructor does, and even specifics like the three steps for creating an object for a class. The conversation also included language-level details such as the default value of Java’s byte datatype.

As it went on, I got the sense the interviewer was showing off their knowledge rather than steering toward a smooth evaluation. I remember feeling unimpressed enough that I didn’t accept the offer when it came through—especially since it sounded more like they were trying to fill a role quickly than genuinely engaging with my fit.
