My pipeline was the classic streamlined pattern: a recruiter HR phone screen, then a technical round, then a virtual on-site.

I had an easier time because the technical focus was more specific than generic coding—it was centered on knowledge of software testing and practical scenarios.

They also made it clear that understanding the product and doing some light research mattered, since the conversation connected testing ideas back to the work being done. Overall, it felt organized enough that I could follow the thread from the role context into the technical evaluation, and the experience stayed respectful and professional.
