I was recommended by someone who worked there, and the recruiter part of the process was actually solid—communication stayed open and it felt transparent.

Once I got scheduled with the hiring manager, though, the interview felt off almost immediately.

He dominated the conversation instead of letting it be two-way, and he kept looking away when I spoke. I couldn’t shake the sense that he’d already decided something, and the questions felt generic but he insisted on very specific answers to them. He came across condescending at points, and while I kept hoping I was misreading things, it didn’t improve. When they didn’t move forward after the interview, I was left questioning why the meeting happened at all if the outcome seemed predetermined.
