I went through what felt like a regular interview flow that centered on systems I was familiar with, then gradually got more specific about the technologies I had worked on.

The questions stayed in an “in between” zone—neither trivial nor extremely technical—and I didn’t feel like I was being tested on obscure theory.

Overall, it matched the difficulty level I expected, and it didn’t drag out with too many complications. Even so, I didn’t end up receiving an offer.

I remember walking away feeling like the interview itself wasn’t brutal, but the final decision just didn’t go my way.
