I applied online and a few weeks later I got invited to an online technical challenge focused on prompt engineering.

After that, I had an HR call that felt pretty standard. Then I met with the hiring manager and, ultimately, I was rejected.

What made the loop feel better than some others was the tone of the hiring manager conversation—he was friendly and gave a lot of insights about the role. Even with the rejection, it felt like I learned something about what they were building and how they approached the job.

So while the end wasn’t what I hoped for, the process itself felt respectful and informative rather than frustrating.
