I went through an average-length, multi-interviewer process over several conversations, but I never heard the final decision.

HR screen and policies — I first spoke with HR, who walked me through workplace policies.
Multiple interviews with potential teammates — I then met with several people (in person and via Skype), including those I’d be working with.
Follow-up with no response — I emailed thanks after the interviews, but the process ended with silence—no offer and no decline. Outcome: I didn’t get closure, and the takeaway was that even a seemingly complete process can still leave candidates waiting.
