I experienced a mostly behavioral, low-friction three-round process with escalating seniority, including a panel and a skip-level discussion.

Hiring manager (30 min) — A straightforward behavioral-focused conversation.
Panel interview (30 min) — Another behavioral discussion with multiple interviewers.
Skip-level with director-level executive — Final check with a senior executive, still primarily behavioral. Outcome: In both cases, the journey was smooth and one led to an offer; takeaway: they value communication and behavioral fit across levels.
