New York, NYPosted Sep 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced a lighter-weight, mostly behavioral journey with one combined company/role-focused technical-style discussion, in a couple of short 30-minute steps.

Recruiter screen — A ~30-minute behavioral conversation about my background and fit.
Behavior + technical mix — Another ~30-minute behavioral segment followed by an additional ~30-minute discussion-style portion where they asked largely about how American Express makes money and the company basics. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the process felt more conversational than problem-focused, but my fit wasn’t enough to progress.
