HR screen — A first conversation with basic fit/role questions.
Hiring manager/team round — I spoke with the hiring manager and team members; the focus stayed on my background rather than testing.
Second manager round — A further round continued the conversation about fit and competency.
Decision timing — In one version of the experience, I received a verbal offer shortly after completing the rounds. Outcome: No offer in one instance, verbal offer in the other; the takeaway was that when they don’t test technically, clear role fit and experience alignment drive
