I went through a rigorous, multi-layer Business Analyst process over a few weeks where the focus stayed on my real project work and my analytical reasoning.

Resume/deep-dive interviews — I was challenged with detailed questions on my projects, responsibilities, and how I made decisions.
Puzzles and case studies — I worked through problem-solving prompts meant to test analytical thinking and how I stayed structured under pressure. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, but I learned that the bar is high on structured thinking tied directly to my past experience.
