BengaluruPosted Feb 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed at AMD in Bengaluru and the rounds were very focused on core software fundamentals.

It started with a panel-style discussion where the questions leaned into OOP and C++.

After that, I had a managerial round with more technical depth, again centered mainly on OOP. The interview also included software design questions and some broader discussion about my prior software development work. Overall, the emphasis stayed on object-oriented concepts and how I think in C++ rather than on systems or heavy coding.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the process felt coherent: everything connected back to OOP and how my past development experience mapped to their expectations.
