I started with a screening phone call where they asked about my background from university and generally aligned on what I had done so far.

It felt pretty straightforward, and at the time I was still waiting on the rest of the process.

Later, my first real interview was centered on data structures and algorithms. The interviewer walked me through two medium-level problems focused on strings and arrays, and the main thing I had to nail was handling edge cases carefully. The experience felt good and the interviewer was genuinely helpful when I got stuck, so even though the questions were technical, the tone stayed friendly.
