AMD Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Negative

Austin, TXPosted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

Scheduling the interviews was easy and quick, but the experience itself wasn’t.

I had two interviews back to back, and both were dominated by resume screening rather than deep technical discussion.

The interviewer was rude and didn’t let me finish answering the questions they asked. I also felt like they weren’t genuinely interested in my experiences on the resume, even though that was supposedly the focus.

Even though the process moved smoothly time-wise, it left me frustrated and thrown off, because I couldn’t properly explain my background. I ended up not receiving an offer, and I attributed that partly to how the conversation was handled rather than just my answers.
