AMD Software Engineer interview experience

The whole thing felt moderately to highly difficult, and I remember the interviews not aligning with what I expected around typical DSA focus. Instead, the technical parts leaned more toward system design.

Even though I was able to get through multiple rounds, the experience still felt high-stakes the entire way—like each conversation could end the process. By the time I reached the later stages, the pressure had carried through from the earlier technical discussion, and it was clear they were comparing fit pretty deliberately.
