AMD Software Engineer interview experience

The process itself was a single round, and I remember being surprised by how easy the questions were. I answered everything correctly and still didn’t get the offer.

The experience was straightforward—just one pass—so there wasn’t much uncertainty about where I stood after the round. Still, the final decision didn’t reflect my performance in the way I expected, which was honestly confusing.

My reflection was that even when a round feels like a confidence builder, internship decisions can come down to factors beyond what’s asked in that one interview.
