My process felt straightforward at first, but it ended poorly.

I ended up with one coding round and then two separate technical screenings. A lot of the coding questions were framed like simple “toy” problems, which initially made it feel manageable.

What threw me off was how some of the questions seemed off or didn’t quite connect to what the problem was actually asking. Even when I answered in a way that felt aligned with what the interviewer wanted, it still didn’t make sense to me how it mapped to a correct solution. Overall, the recruiting team later said they were concerned about my coding skill, and the experience didn’t go in my favor.
