I had a remote one-on-one interview that felt standard on paper, but the delivery was uneven.

The interviewer didn’t seem fully prepared to run the interview, and technical issues came up that weren’t really acknowledged.

We went through a mix of soft-skill and hard-skill evaluation with the usual boilerplate questions. The awkward part was that I had to keep my focus while the call kept wobbling, and the overall flow never quite clicked into a clean interview rhythm.

Difficulty-wise it was around average and not conceptually brutal, but the lack of readiness on the interviewer’s side made it feel more draining than it should have. I didn’t get an offer.
