AMD Software Engineer interview experience

Before I even got to a live discussion, the team went through my resume in detail and asked about essentially every prior project and piece of work I listed.

The interviews themselves felt more relationship-driven than high-pressure. Interviewers were kind, and communication moved quickly in the background—emails were answered fast, which made the whole thing feel organized.

I didn’t end up with an offer. Still, the main impression I got was that the early stage focused heavily on understanding my past work rather than jumping immediately into complex problem-solving.
