I went through a phone interview and then an onsite interview made up of four separate forty-five-minute conversations with different people.

They tested both my coding skills and how I communicated while solving problems, especially whether I could explain ideas quickly and clearly.

The onsite also used scenario-style prompts. I was asked which options would be the best solutions among different possibilities, and it pushed me beyond just writing code—it was as much about reasoning and clarity as it was about correctness.

I got an offer. Looking back, what mattered most to me was that they evaluated how I thought under realistic scenario pressure, not just whether I could produce an answer.
