I was preparing for a System Design interview with Amazon’s Fulfillment team for an SDE III role, and the main thing I was trying to figure out was what the journey would feel like in practice.

I hadn’t done the loop yet at the time I reached out, but I knew it would likely be a more experience-heavy conversation because system design typically depends on how I structure tradeoffs and explain decisions.
