After I applied online, a recruiter got in touch and scheduled a fast-moving sequence: a phone screen, then a second phone interview shortly after, and an onsite in the following week even though there was a holiday week in between.

By Friday I knew they intended to make an offer, and I received it the next Monday. The whole thing felt lightning quick.

The onsite itself ran about five hours with lunch worked into the interview slots. I ended up talking with six interviewers total—four “regular” interviews plus additional time with a second-tier manager and a principal engineer. The questions didn’t feel like pure algorithm drills for me; they leaned more toward design, though I still covered technical areas like threading, locking, deadlock avoidance, and even tree traversal and optimization with different interviewers.
