I submitted my resume at a career fair and they set up a phone interview that went well.

During the call, I was asked to mail my school project code, which added a slight administrative step beyond the usual verbal discussion.

Because it was only a phone interview, I didn’t have the chance to go deeper through onsite rounds. Ultimately, I didn’t receive an offer.

The biggest thing I remember was how the interview quickly moved from discussion to requesting actual project artifacts.
