They emailed me to come in for an on-campus interview consisting of two one-on-one rounds.

The first focused on my background and interests, and they asked a question that tested the basics of software thinking, like how to test a function that adds two numbers.

The second interview turned more technical with several programming questions. They also had me fill out some forms for them, but none of the interviewers seemed to know what to do with the forms during the process.

I didn’t get an offer. What I couldn’t shake was the awkwardness of the setup—the forms and lack of clarity made it feel like the logistics weren’t well integrated with the actual interviewing.
