Amazon Lab126 Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Positive

SeattleCandidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed onsite at Amazon’s Seattle office for an SDE II role.

The coding problems themselves felt fine, and the feedback during the process sounded positive. I left believing things were going in the right direction.

But near the end, I was told they wouldn’t be moving forward. Even with a good tone and acceptable performance, the decision still went against me.

I didn’t get an offer. My reflection was that the process felt respectful and reassuring until the very end, and then it abruptly flipped without much room to react.
