After a recruiter touchpoint, my process moved into what was supposed to be a demo interview.

The people I met beforehand were genuinely nice and supportive, and the tone was respectful.

But right as I was expecting the second-stage demo conversation, things suddenly changed. Instead of continuing, I was rejected and then essentially went quiet—no clear explanation and no follow-up. That abrupt stop was the only really negative surprise, and it left me feeling more confused than anything else.

Overall, the early interactions had been positive, but the way the process ended for me was abrupt and didn’t match the otherwise supportive vibe I’d experienced earlier.
