Alten Software Engineer interview experience

After a few weeks, HR called to let me know I was chosen and even told me to give notice to my employer.

A few days later, I tried to get status on the contract and didn’t hear back. After I kept calling and asking for updates, the silence continued. It felt especially bad because I’d already given notice based on what was presented as a verbal offer.

The experience ended in being ghosted, even after moving forward on a critical personal decision. Looking back, I felt caught because the communication broke down right when I most needed clarity about the actual agreement.
