I had an initial call that caught me off guard because it was with the tech team, even though the role was for a business consultant.

The questions were fairly straightforward and mostly situational, centered on how I would contribute and what I’d do in realistic scenarios.

The conversation felt easy enough—less like a deep technical interrogation and more like a quick read on my approach. The downside was that after the interview, I never heard back at all, not even a clear rejection.

I didn’t end up getting an offer. My honest reflection was that the process itself was smooth during the call, but the silence afterward made it feel unresolved and a bit frustrating.
