I walked into the store with my resume, asked right away if they were hiring, and got pulled into an interview that same day.

The questions stayed pretty straightforward—mostly about my background, my personality, and what I was looking for in a workplace, plus how I thought about customer service. I also answered the usual availability and student-status type questions, and the flow felt quick and informal once I was in the chair.

The whole thing didn’t take long, and I remember leaving feeling like the interviewer was mainly trying to gauge whether I’d fit the store’s vibe and show up consistently. A few weeks later-ish, or within about a week, I ended up with an offer. Honestly, it felt like a warm, low-drama
