I was told I’d be set up for a group interview after I asked about hiring and submitted my resume.

I remember the store manager being enthusiastic on the phone when she called me with details, and it sounded like it would be straightforward.

On the day it was supposed to happen, I just didn’t end up getting through the process—I never had the interview. The whole experience left me hanging, and what made it frustrating was that I had been expecting something concrete based on the call and timing they gave me. Ultimately, there wasn’t an offer, and the main feeling was uncertainty rather than the typical “I bombed it” kind of disappointment.
