Alarm Software Engineer interview experience

The first two rounds were relatively straightforward: a phone screening and then a Zoom interview. After that, I was given an assignment, which I completed successfully.

The final round was an in-person interview with the hiring team. Even though the interviewers were exceptionally friendly and encouraging throughout, I wasn’t selected for the job.

The surprising part for me wasn’t the difficulty—it was the timing of everything relative to the role details. They were offering hybrid when their job listing had said remote, and I didn’t feel like I was aligned enough to continue at that point.
