Alarm Software Engineer interview experience

I had a recruiter call where the focus was mostly on explaining the position and talking about my relevant experiences, and I remember being prompted to share a desired salary.

After that, the next step was a coding round that lasted around an hour and a half, with a couple algorithm/data-structure questions. It felt manageable as long as I thought carefully about the approach rather than trying to rush.

I didn’t end up getting an offer from the process, and the overall feeling was that it moved fast but didn’t include much transparency or helpful feedback along the way.
