Akamai Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Medium

Positive

GhanaPosted Jan 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My experience with Akamai felt genuinely positive and it stayed fairly compact.

I went through two rounds total. One was more of a discussion, and the other was technical.

In the discussion round, I was able to talk with people on the team I would’ve been working with. The tone was encouraging, and it didn’t feel combative or like the interview was trying to trip me up. The second round kept things more focused on technical substance.

I didn’t end up with an offer, but what stuck with me was how friendly the people I spoke to were and how comfortable I felt describing my background without being put on the defensive.
