I only had an initial conversation with a recruiter, and it was largely about scheduling and fit.

Because the role was in Singapore and I was on Eastern Standard Time, they asked me to join at around 1 a.m. my time, and I actually did it despite how late that was.

The chat went well, but I ended up being left hanging. After a week or so I followed up, and I still didn’t hear back. It didn’t feel like a smooth process at all, and I found it unprofessional that I had put in the effort for the late call but didn’t even get a response afterward.
