I had two main steps before things ended.

First, I met with the hiring manager and talked through my past experience. That was followed by a consultant-style case interview.

The case had two parts: a product design prompt in the first section, then a more analytical question that involved calculations. What stood out was that the calculation portion needed to be done logically and quickly, not just correctly on paper. After going through both pieces, I didn’t end up getting an offer, and the overall feel was that the case difficulty was the main hurdle.
