Agilent Technologies Software Engineer interview experience

I had an initial phone interview with an HR recruiter, and then a few days after that, I did a second phone interview with the hiring manager.

Both conversations focused on my work history and qualifications, but the hiring manager didn’t come across as very friendly. I remember being chastised for using an incorrect pronoun, and that shifted the tone away from the usual professional back-and-forth.

Because of how the hiring manager engaged with that moment, the experience left me feeling uneasy rather than confident, and I didn’t receive an offer.
