I didn’t get a good feeling from the start once I reached the hiring manager stage.

The structure of the interview didn’t feel well organized, and the interviewer came across as inexperienced. I left that conversation feeling uncomfortable, like the dynamic had turned into something more about power than a fair evaluation.

I didn’t see a path forward where I’d be supported through the rest of the loop, so I decided not to continue. Looking back, the biggest thing I took from it was how quickly the tone of the hiring manager stage can change the entire experience.
