Bentonville, ARPosted Jan 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed at the Rogers, AR office as part of a panel-style process, with a hiring manager and then a quick meet-and-greet with two VPs.

The first two conversations went well—the hiring manager even gave the impression he wanted to hire me. That made me feel pretty confident.

But the vibe changed after meeting the two VPs. They came off arrogant to me during the short meet-and-greet, and I didn’t feel impressed by their leadership style. After that, I didn’t hear anything for weeks. When I finally followed up, the recruiter told me they were going in a different direction. I walked away feeling like the VP interaction may have been a mismatch that mattered more than I expected.
