Adobe Software Engineer interview experience

At one point, I even received a verbal offer, which made the rest of the process feel like it was landing in the right place.

But later the offer was withdrawn after I disclosed that I had been previously laid off. That part was disappointing and disheartening because the technical rounds had felt strong, and it seemed like the decision pivoted on something separate from performance.

I didn’t end up with an offer. The reflection I keep is that the process itself built confidence, but the final turning point came from a background disclosure, not from how I handled the interview questions.
