Adobe Software Engineer interview experience

Posted Jan 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My US tech screen was a single DSA-focused round on HackerRank.

The process description was pretty minimal: the tech screen itself was the main event, and it confirmed that the US format was essentially one HackerRank DSA round.

Because it was just one step, it was hard to infer much beyond the fact that they valued core DSA proficiency right away. I didn’t get much in terms of additional interviews or deeper technical follow-ups from this particular datapoint.

I ended up with no offer from this pathway, and my reflection was that the bar was concentrated—if you didn’t perform well on the DSA round, there wasn’t a lot of opportunity to recover elsewhere.
