In my process, I had a combined recruiter-and-manager interaction right away, and it shaped the tone.

During that meeting, the questions were both career-related and technical, but they were asked in a way that felt genuinely interested rather than like a checklist. I remember feeling at ease because the questions actually connected to my technical skills and also to where I wanted to go next.

I also noticed that they were curious about my perspective on working remotely, which helped the conversation feel more human than purely procedural. Overall, the environment felt welcoming and relaxed, and the interviewer came across as friendly as the discussion moved along.
